Hello again! I'm still having problems installing MyBB on my site i've done everything it's told me to do in the installtion guide I CHMOD'd all the files to 666 like it said but it still isn't working it still says that uploads/avatars isn't writeable when I go through the setup process. Help, please?

Try chmoding to 777. Is your server UNIX?

I tryed 777 after 666 didn't work, it also didn't work.

You mean you CHMOD it to 777 and it says is not writable?

Did you CHMOD the uploads folder itself?

Yeah it says not writable with 666 too

yes, the uploads folder and avatrs insdie uploads both to 666

CHMOD the two folders to 777
