Hi there MyBB community.

Recently my forum has been having a small problem that I cannot seem to fix, where slashes appear before punctuation symbols such as the apostrophe ('). I cannot link to the exact place(s) this is happening because it's a private forum, however, I can provide this wonderful screen shot that you're going to absolutely love:

I don't want this to become a hassle for my users. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Your host has PHP 5.3.x but hasn't disabled magic quotes, which they'll need to do, as it's deprecated in PHP 5.3.x so won't work properly.

This only just started happening today. It has not done this before.

Then they would have only just upgraded PHP.
