I got this error when I clicked the Plugin Manager link:

Can I ask why you think it's EI's fault?
I'm assuming you tried to install EI but it failed either during or after install?

Please try downloading and uploading the new version of EI, 1.2. Upload a new set of admin/global.php and admin/plugins.php files to your admin dir. Deactivate EI if it is active. Then try reactivating (EI v1.2) and tell me if it happens again.

Could you please attach your plugins.php file if it happens again.
