I need a plugin that adds something like a crown (or other admin specified) that is displayed whereever their username is shown.
It should look like shown in the following (look at group legend on the bottom of the page):

No need for a plugin for this. Get/make the images you want to use, then edit the group(s) you want to put images in font of. Under "Username Style" add <img src="IMAGE LOCATION" alt="ALTERNATE TEXT" title="STATUS"> in front of it. Replace image location with the location of the image, alternat text with what to say if the image doesn't display, and status with their status or whatever else you'd like it to show in most browsers when you hold the cursor over it.
user-specific, however, probably would need a plugin.
