I want to move our forum from secure.vpsguys.com to forum.vpsguys.com.
How would we do this?

ACP > Configuration > General Configuration > change the Board URL to this:
http://forum.vpsguys.com
and the cookie domain to:
forum.vpsguys.com
or:
.vpsguys.com
And then move the files to the new folder.
I've tried that but every time I move any where within the AdminCP it logs me out.
Then you probably didn't change the cookie settings, changed them incorrectly, or didn't clear your browser cookies.
I've done all of that and now the forum has no CSS by the looks of it...

https://secure.vpsguys.com/forum
I've changed the URLs etc in the MySQL database.
Why did you change them there?? I said to do it in the ACP because changing the database has no effect on what the forum uses. If for some reason you can't edit them in the ACP, edit them in ./inc/settings.php and then in the ACP, or just delete your ./inc/settings.php file and let it regenerate with the values from the database.
I've done that now and it's working. Would the Cookie path be /home/forum/ ?

have you moved your files to your new directory yet?
