My host claims there is a bug and they tried a few times to correct it. Initially they said it was a table, now its a bug.

What is the actual bug though? I don't see any errors?

Can you explain what is actually wrong here?? All I see is a board closed message. It's very helpful if you post the error you;re getting so we can still help if the error isn't currently showing, and people might be able to search for the thread if they have the same error.

Sorry, here is the error:

MyBB SQL Error
MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1040 - Too many connections
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server
Please contact the MyBB Group for support.

And they said that was a bug?? Erm... yeah.

There's too many connections to the database, they need to increase the max_user_connestions setting.

Take a look at this thread http://community.mybboard.net/thread-64375.html Basically your options are to have your host raise the maximum connection limit or change hosts.

Earlier today it was showing a missing file error, and unable to send headers as sent in funcitons.php line 8 Hope this helps, I was going to post but couldnt figure out the error

Update:

I had a friend of mine 'rem out' the code on the landing page. It is fine now. He thinks it had something to do with the News plugin.
