can someone help me please problem when installing

this file does exist on my server and has been chmod as instructed in the install instructions. does anyone know what the prob could be...

no it doenst I checked, and remove the default.php file from your site Try just reuploading the "inc" folder

Make sure ./inc/languages/english/ is 755 and the files are 644 or 666.

Looks fine for me. Try clearing your cache??

no i mean if you go into admin cp there is no choices what so ever..nothing on the left nothing on the top..weird

That looks like a problem with your language files. Have you re-uploaded them and made sure the folder and files are CMODed correctly as suggested above? Specifically ./inc/languages/english/admin/ (it would need permissions too)
