The popular MSN Messenger forum running MyBB maybe?
It looked like SMF at first glance.
Looked like phpBB to me when I first looked at it.
It's the oldest running MyBB Forum we know of. It's still on RC2, or something like that...

Ya, it's one of the larger sites that run MyBB and has been for as long as I can remember
. Heck Tochjo is a super mod there and management here.
Its probably a bit more than coincidence, MyBB and messenger plus go back a long way:
