I would fix the welcome block.

The black text is hard to see, it's kinda squished and unattractive. Also get rid of the two columns for the search/welcomeblock. It looks ugly. I would advise putting the search in the header and creating a bar that goes across the whole width of your container.

The red does look to pink for me but I can easily change that myself.
