but the strip to the left is kinda useless

I actually kind of like it! I like the colors and the idea. The layout is very simple too. Nice job.

Woah, amazing theme. I suggest you create new on/off/lock icons as they're not matching the theme in my opinion.

I'm not to keen on it, bit strange!
