MyBB Community Forums

Hi,

I have uploaded MyBB onto a web host server but I don't want visitors to my site to be directed straight to the forum. I instead want a home page (which I have designed) with a link to the forum. Can someone please help me with setting this up with my host server.

Upload myBB to a directory rather than the root.
Upload your home page to the root folder.

As Nayar said, all you need to do is have MyBB in ANY directory other than the root, and put your homepage in the root directory (public_html)

Or you could have it in the same folder but call your home page index.html, that'll be shown rather than the forum index if your visit the URL with no specific file.
