What i want to do is just backup my members posts and the sections how would i do this in the sql, in addition to members i would also want to just backup solely their info and stuff so i can redo everything, because if i backup everything in the sql the forum's style is all jacked up after reinstalling the forum and setting it to my restored sql.


also when my members post up links they get messed up how do i fix this.

You can use cPanel for backups.

i know that but i only want to backup somethings in the mybb sql i dont want to back up the templates that is in it.

Why do you need to reinstall?? If you only want to save certain stuff just choose the tables you want to backup and leave the rest.

And can you elaborate on how links are 'messed up'?? Not sure what we can do with that level of information.
