is it possible to set up a task to run this tool automatically at a time I select?

I found that a few of my threads were out of whack because some counters were off. I'd like to avoid this by having something automate the process or running that part of mybb every few days.

It would be fairly easy to set this up as a MyBB task but you would need to write a php script to run the recounting processes first.

mind writing a script to do this? the script I got isn't working correctly..you're more familiar with mybb then the kid who wrote the php script to do this.
