Is there any Donation Bar plugin, if not, can anyone make one, just like the one available for vBulletin, I think it'd be great to have it on the index page. And this doesn't seem hard for the coders at all I think.

You mean like a donate now button? Or a donation goal thing?
Donation goal thingy and a donate button on the goal. =)
If you're using PayPal, this wouldnt be too hard I dont think, The bar would be pretty easy. You could probably achieve finding the donation amount by setting the redirect after sale URL to a php script that add the amount of money donated to the DB

I've seen some sites that count donations. Could be just a simple header edit.
