It is probably a simple fix, but I'm in the middle of setting up a new forum installation for my family tree/family history site. (www.ivykeep.net/forum)

I've done the install and am working on the configuration. I've added forums to the site, but when I go to check on them, I get the following error:
Quote:Not Found

The requested URL /forum/forum-6.html was not found on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

What step or option did I miss when I added each forum?[/quote]

rename file htaccess.txt to .htaccess

Thank you for the response. It worked once I noticed the leading . in the file name. Thanks!
