Is there a plugin that I can have side bars and put custom stuff in them and have like a music player on the side or anything I want to put in there?
Is there anything like that?
Go to the mods site and search "Side bars" Alternatively, you could add some in with simple CSS.
They're called Side Boxes. And there are 3 I'm aware of. At least one of which requires a subscription to another site.

I just typed side boxes into the Mods search set up and a few showed up, I'm sure you could do that too, despite your custom title.
At the risk of being repetitious, here is the subscriber one I mentioned. I wrote it, and it has a LOT of features beyond what the one you linked to does. Including displaying boxes in more locations, including overriding the stock "portal" boxes on the portal.php page.

As I stated, you must be a subscriber (pay a yearly subscription fee to that site) to download it. Many of the best plugins come from subscriber sites like this.
