Following on from what I have been doing - I am creating a landing page for the forums.
Now, the issue is that I want to heavily modify my home page look/feel however I am struggling. Here is the situation:
I want to show the last 3 new threads on the home page. While the portal does include this - I don;t want to upset the current functionality, so I have created my own template for it.
I have then put it into my portal template by adding the code:
That includes it no problem. But now I am stuck with writing the template in the best way to show only the last 3 threads. To make things interesting they can only be from forums that the user has access to.
Can anyone help? I was trying to track down where the normal template is for this but without success - I could really use some guidance.
