I think MyBB should have a real Multi domain system.
For example.
i go to MyBBRawks.com and MyBBRawks.net. Both allow me to log in perfectly find.
I could also set mybbrawks.net to go straight to mybbrawks.com/forum-2 and use that as the primary part for it.
Imho it would be awesome. No idea if its doable, but it would be awesome.
Umm, I don't see the point. In less they are different sites and they implement something like drupal where one install can be used for separate sites.
However if it's the same site I would say just use redirects.

If all domains show the same content it's pointless. There are already plugins available for this:

But a domain management would be cool. So you can add Domains and Subdomains which points to the same place. MyBB could handle them for multi language support:
en.example.net > uses english language and will only show english categories/forums
de.example.net > uses german language and will only show german categories/forums
...

i have a game forum, later this year, another game will be released, me registering a domain for that game as well... since both games are related, both domains are supposed to use the same forum, just with different headers ... i'll see how i can manage that.
I am a professional SEO expert and can also say that such things as Google would be seen as multiple content, and thus would greatly devalue or remove from the index.
It is different, of course, only if the topic is the same, but are displayed in different domains different categories, as suggested already ricocheting. But if the two categories are separated so, where are they together? Then one can make is 2 forums.
What i want really is to be about to assisn domains to forum ids.
i need to maintain my 10 forums in 10 different domains.. But the admin and database
should be only one..
For example
www.forum1.com
www.forum2.com
www.forum3.com
www.forum4.com
the first url should points my forum1
the second url should points my forum2
the third url should points my forum3
Please help, if any plugins is available..
