Hello Everybody, I just installed the plug in "RSS to Post" I know how to get the feeds but it's been heck trying to find the proper User ID #s... I don't know...

I have the latest version of myBB 1.4

I installed the plug in properly, no problems... I forgot to strip the html from the posts btu I now have that fixed.

My issue is it wants me to assign a "User ID" # which I cannot find anywheres... I created new users to act as the RSS feed poster... but I can't find where the User ID numbers are??

Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks!

If you hover over the username link it will show the user ID in your browsers status bar.

You can find it in the bot's profile page.

I'm sorry... I don't follow ??? I still don't see User ID#s anywhere

it would be nice if the plug in "RSS to Post" would allow a setting for using the usernames instead of the User ID #s... Lol

With the Google SEO plugin it's a bit harder, but see the find all threads / find all posts / etc links, it still contains uid= parameters. Also in the Admin CP Users page you can still see the UIDs if you look hard enough... Luckily most other things (PM, Search, etc.) let you enter the user name directly instead of the ID.
