The files (url.php is affected by 1.4.12 too) are available in the first post of the Google SEO thread... and will be included in the next version of Google SEO.

Works for me. Maybe your edits were incomplete? There only was a problem with Announcement URLs due to a change in 1.4.12. That's what the updated url.php fixes...
