haha, the merge was done on local (I don't think my host would like it otherwise ). Another small issue is the latest threads start with tids 12345 etc and 3 year old posts have tids like 2454; so now I need to think about how I'm going to order them all right without breaking everything.

So the older stuff has smaller tids than the newer stuff? That'd be normal...

Or do you mean you're experiencing a huge gap in tid for threads made after the conversion? In that case you could reset the auto increment counter to the max tid before making any new threads, but if you did the merge local that's what would happen anyway as you import the backup of that on your host.

Re-ordering threads is something you don't want to do usually.
