I'm sorry if this isn't the right place.

So I submitted my sitemap to google a few days and the server went down while google was searching the site so therefore one part failed.



I have clicked resubmit and that didn't fix it.
should i delete the sitemap and and then submit it again or just wait it out and see if it fixes itself.

Google refetches the sitemaps periodically. Give it some time. Also the only way to delete a sitemap is to make it go to a 404 page really. Even if you delete it from your webmaster tools, Google will still use it as long as it's there...

It will eventually fix itself.
