I updated the general configuration for "Contact us" link changing it to contact page instead of an e-mail ID.

It doesn't work at all.

I tried clearing the cache, rebuilding the cache and so on, but it never works.

Any idea what the issue could be? Very funny.

For some reason the settings.php file had changed to readonly.

CHMOD settings.php to 777 or 666, cant remember which
