Not many places around the net offer proper reviews. I am seen terrible ones on Forum Promotion and even more terrible ones at other forums. For this I thought I would offer my own review service. No I don't own an awesome forum with loads of member and have a lot of experince, nor am I the best designer and know everything there is about designing. I am simply a person that has learned from studying others and discovering what works best.

In my reviews I also give tips on how to improve and what exactly to change. Most importantly I will also tell you why. I know most reviewers don't say why and this makes their review worthless.

Overall: A very well rounded forum.
The forum as a whole looks and feels quite nice. There isn’t much to complain looking at the index, the only problem is that ‘Entertainment Deck’, ‘Tech Central’ and ‘The Arena’ are hidden from guests. I find this strange as there isn’t anything in these sections to hide. For this I believe this is just a minor fault on your part. In terms of visual appeal, the theme looks great and Sarah did a great job on the design. I and many other members like the random facts code and I would like to also see some testimonials in there, just to encourage others to join. Looking at the descriptions of forums, they are a bit long but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Lastly, a minor problem I would like to point out, I see no link to the Arcade in the submenu, yet I see Arcade scores at the bottom. Why is that?

Layout: 8.5/10
Forum descriptions as I have mentioned are a tad long, but some of them are quite funny. Sometimes however, members will get used to these descriptions and altering them might help. At the same time, nothing as long as you have is needed for members know what the section is about anyway, and in many cases what you say can be summed up in one sentence. Another note, you have chosen to split your forum into chat and other but I do not see why. I would say that technology and entertainment discussion is very much chatter and therefore don’t see a reason why they need separate sections. At the same time, I do not see why ‘Internet Lounge’ cannot be a subforum of ‘Tech Central’ as well as ‘Free Chat’ being a subforum of the ‘Social Room’. These areas are very much the same and only lengthen the layout. A forum doesn’t need a long layout to look good and full; two sections are just simple and work well. Also, I love the idea of ‘The Arena’, a very nice way to get people thinking of ways to make their side look better than the other (keeps everyone thinking).

Staff: 10/10
A great bunch of people seem to have been chosen and by great I mean that they fit the forum perfectly. They are all there to chat and their positive mood keep others positive too. A great staff team you have here. I haven’t read about their grammar and what not but for such a forum it isn’t an issue what-so-ever. They keep the forum fun and I would pretty much consider them as members for this forum seems to moderate itself.

Appearance: 9.5/10
Minor issues here and there that can’t be fixed, such as IE errors but overall a great theme by Sarah and Delirium. I don’t see the reason for the little corners on the quotes. I know it make it look like the quote is embedded into the post but really, I find it more annoying than embedded. Other than this, fix the hr and add a submenu button for the arcade. Besides this, everything looks nice. Another great theme.

Its a nice service but I wouldn't be caught paying for it.
