Please check my forums theme: www.gaforums.co.uk, as you can see the them template is in the middle and i have a few inch plain black background on either side ie left and right, i have a image to put in the background behind the theme instead of plain black, but how do i go about this?

Admin CP > Templates & Style tab > Select your theme > click global.css > from the drop down, select #container. Change the Background field on that
