Due to our recent surge of traffic, and our promise for more competitions, we are planning on launching a contest which will help both us improve and provide a nice prize to the winner.

How do you enter? Well, head on over to this thread (http://community.songr.com/thread-ideas2...entry-form) and reply with a feature you’d like to see built into Songr (limit 3 submissions per person). We will then compile all the results at the end of May and post a poll.

The most popular feature among users will be picked and the owner of that idea will be sent an 8GB third gen iPod Touch, free shipping and handling. The more feature suggestions we get, the more prizes we will add (if you are interested in sponsoring us, please contact us at contact[at]songr[dot]com)

Once again, the thread is right here: http://community.songr.com/thread-ideas2...entry-form

Simple as that, enjoy!

Nice Contest.

One Note though, there is no such thing as a 3rd Generation 8G iPod Touch. Only 32G and 64G. The 8G are still Generation 2 but come with 3.0 Software.
Yeah, but I thought it was a 3rd gen? (same specs as 2nd gen, but 3.0 software as you noted)
I currently own the 32GB, so don't quite know the specs for 2nd gen.
3rd Gens (32g and 64g, I have a 32) have upgraded hardware which is going to be able to handle things coming in 4.0 such as multitasking while the 8g will not.
With all due respect the higher capacity models are also noticably more expensive and I don't know if Kyle would be in the position to offer them. I'd still enter this contest.. If I wasn't writing this reply from my iPod Toungue
I'm in Wink
Oh I am not by any means saying that he should upgrade his prize to the 32g or 64g (Unless he wants to Toungue)
I am just making a correction to what he is offering. Because I know there are alot of people who are going to be unhappy when 4.0 comes out and they download it and multitasking doesn't work...

There will be a jailbreak for it. Trust me Wink
Rather than upgrading by spending an additional $120~, I might just add 2 $50 iTunes or 1 $100 iTunes.
There might be a jailbreak but chances are it will crash the iPod (or 1st gen iPhones) because the hardware wont be able to handle it.
