Hi there,

I hope there is someone who could help me find a solution.
I have installed and configured MyBB 1.413. when I push the <view forum> buttom on the top right hand corner of the dashboard I get a screen which is completely garbled up. Take a look at it at:

I am using IE 8; which tells me (also in dashboard mode) that there are errors on the page (which I can not see):

In dashboard mode the error is:

In the view forum mode the error (which is very clear visible) sounds like :

You will probably see it yourself (I hope). So the question is:
Did I miss something in the installation & configuration?
Or is something wrong somewhere else?

(Synology DS410J Diskstation; running with MySQL 5.1.34 and PHP version 5.2.10)

Well for the images not showing up, re-upload all of the /images folder.

You've set this up incorrectly. How have you mapped this IP to your files?? When you try and view the CSS files or images directly, it just shows the forum index. Don't know how you've set this up but it's not right.

Rozzy, Thanks but it does not work. I reloaded all files and folders in the /images folder (with FTP, binary, rights in folder are 666 )

Problem persists, so it must be something else..

About mapping and IP-address, some extra info:
@Home my Local network IP-adress of server = 12.0.0.9/Forum/ when I hit this (of course from a local client) it gives the same garbled result as shown above.

my internet IP-address (my ISP provided), 84.28.64.91; all appropriate ports are forwarded, is evident, we would not see anything else then the -404 page not fount message,

- What is the purpose of mapping an IP-addres to my files as you suggested (which files?) and where and how do I do this?.

Any ideas, suggestions are welcome.

ISSUE SOLVED - Please read solution:

Hi guys,

The error occured because of me not paying attention.
I was working the admin-console too hasty in the section: [ Board Settings ]> [ General Configuration (21 settings) ] .

I should have paid attention : Where it says do NOT include a trailing slash I did the opposite...
