I am having, what I am guessing is, cookie problems, with my localhost forum.

Cookie domain: .localhost
Cookie path: /forum/

I have it located in wamp/www/forum, so in the browser it would be localhost/forum

I have tried getting a fresh copy of the inc/settings.php file and overwriting the original, but that didn't work. I also tried deleting the inc/settings.php file and letting it auto regenerate, and still nothing.

The only thing I changed before this happened was I took out pretty much everything from the header template. (Pretty much just the welcomeblock, menu, and logo.)

For localhost the domain needs to be set as blank. Then it will work

That's weird, it worked for months before this happened... Do you know what might have caused that?

Did you upgrade recently? It might be a bug fix or something.

Yeah, but it was still working after that from what I remember.

Meh if it's working now then I'm not going to bother thinking why it wouldn't work :p
I'm sure I remember a place which said to put the domain as blank if it's localhost though...
