Hello there
I updated my site and my friend's site both from 1.2.13 to 1.4.13 today and now both have the same problem;
when you click on a thread link from the main page directly ie "Last Post" i got redirected to "/showthread.php?tid=&action=lastpost"
and it seems that all the links at the mainpage are behaving the same,

the actual threads still exist and can be reached by going to It's forum/sub-forum then to the thread.

After you upgraded the forum versions, did you upgrade the themes?
Looks like a themes issue, can't pick up the proper thread IDs.

I take it you ran the upgrader?

As Ian7 says it may just be a templates and themes issue. If you try it with the default MyBB theme does it work?

Yeah i did run the updater and yes it works just fine with mybb default theme!!!
on one of the sites i have the quick theme selector and it seems all the themes have this problem except the default one!

now what should i replace/add to fix this problem ?

Make sure every single template is default, you've got a lot that aren't. Your 1.2 themes won't work with 1.4.

Try reverting some of the theme templates back to default, like "Index".

But make a backup copy out onto a Notepad or Word, in case you want to put it back or recover any coding from it later on.

I reverted the "forumbit_depth2_forum_lastpost" from the "Forum Bit Templates" back to original and worked...
