Hi there,

I'm trying to write a module plugin/mod.

I've never done anything like this before so was looking for a hand.

Can anyone tell me how I can extract the users username and, for example, have it included in a script?

Something like $username or something, I tried $mybb->user and it just said "Array"

Any help would be appreciated.

It's a module for myps and the invite only system @ mybbsource so that the members can use their forum currency to purchase an invite to an invite only forum and invite a friend
