Full Version: Weird error.. www and http://

Okay so...

If I load my site like this http://ftanews.net it works fine... Im able to login and able to go to every page no PROBLEMS..

if I type in www.ftanews.net it will show me as not logged in and every time i try to login it doesn't login properly..

in General Configuration... I got....

Board URL
The url to your forums.
Include the http://. Do NOT include a trailing slash.

FIELD : http://ftanews.net

HOMEPAGE URL : /


Any idea? I just transferred over all my stuff from another server.. it's all working good except for that.. My .HTACESS is setup for the Google SEO.. It's not that though the problem..

Try clearing your browser cookies.
Tried.. just now... with the www. I tried logging in and nothing.. redirects me to the index without being logged in..

Im logged in with that Link.

Im logged out with that Link.
I'm guessing your cookie settings are incorrect, read the instructions in this thread to correct them: http://community.mybboard.net/thread-42123.html
They are correct...
Sometimes it depends of your hosting, i have host in which you need to add Alias to your site. It is some option in your Cpanel. With that Alias it works perfectly.

That is the name of some option in Cpanel.
I cna't find anything in Cpanel after searching for hours... ugh.. why the hell doesn't it work with www. Sad
It should work fine, your cookie settings are setup to not matter if www. is in the URL... can you post details of a test account??
