Hey guys i have a VIP section, but i would like normal members to be able to view the names of the threads and stuff but have the content disabled, so they can see what they will get if they buy vip

Allow the usergroups to view the forum, then go into advanced permissions and allow "Can View forum" but disable "Can view threads in this forum"

You can't do this without core file changes.

Allows you to block users / usergroups from viewing posts.
