I have just started a new forum using myBB (which is great BTW) and I have a query regarding registration.

I have a fairly closed forum for our clients, just as a trial.
I have asked 1 or 2 clients to register and I have the board set to new users need to be activated prior to use.
I have also tested the process of registration.

Firstly, the new user didn't get an email to say they had registered and was waiting activation, and then when activated, there is also no email stating their account was now active.

Can someone explain how this process should work?

I've been looking into this further and I have the registration method set to "Administrator Activation".
The other methods imply some sort of email to the user (Email Verification), but if I have this set as above, do users get email notifications when registered and/or activated?

I believe that an email is sent to users who have been activated by the admin.

I don't think this is the case as I've tested it and nothing was received.
