Well a friend asked me if i can get an OSX ready HP laptop laptop. He doesn't want/need much. Price range is unlimited, Must be powered dual core, or i7. 4gb of ram minimum. I know none of this :/

I did some googling and found nothing he would've already.

Anyone been in this pool?
If your looking for a HP this is probably what your after.

If your looking for a better option this is probably what your after.

Setting up a hackentosh isn't easy or reliable and considering its not going to cost your friend that much more, the mac build quality is much better than HP (I have a HP DV-7, I'm by no means a mac fan boy when I say that) and then you can run OSX and Windows flawlessly.
Its his words. He has an actual OSX CD, so its just the drivers he needs.
Yeah but I still believe you will have trouble installing it on non-apple hardware without modifications to the software.

Meh, he isn't gonna like that lol. Oh well. Bad news is better then no news eh?
Get him to try it on a virtual machine on another computer first, then if he manages that he should try on an actual computer and if he succeeds there then maybe he should fork out $3k for a new laptop purely on it's OSX compatibility Toungue (BTW, I'm not actually sure how that HP I posted goes in regards to OSX compatibility but I know he won't be too disappointed if he has that laptop and no OSX :p)
Well here is his mindset, he is freaken rich. He can afford it. He just went to the mac store last year, fork a ton of money for a mac that he has not been happy with, and recently broke down. He loves OSX, hates the hardware for it. lol.
hmm, I don't see any i7 drivers on InsanelyMac.
