Try De-activating ALL plugin to see if the problem goes away

If not post back here.

Disabled all plugins and still got the problem.

Clear your browser chache and template chache to and check

I still seem to have the problem. (Although, how do I clear the template cache? I may not have done the right thing ).

Re-upload showthread.php and newreply.php

You are probably using up too many server resources, so try contacting your host. :|

Yeah, you need to ask your host about this. There's absolutely no reason for them to do this, if they consider this file to create too much resource usage for them to handle, they can't be a very good host.
