I actually like the way phpBB does templating. I'm a UNIX guy. I dont like nice interfaces or web interfaces when editing HTML/PHP at all. I like editing core files. While I think that myBB is a lot more featured and nicer looking that phpBB, I wish there was a way to edit the core template files. I dont like how my editing relies on an internet connection/my browser. I love the locality and the safety of my UltraEdit and saving/opening files on my server from within it and automatically saving changes via a secure SSH connection.

I love myBB's templating system. I think it's much easier than phpBB. I don't want to deal with files, especially if I'm editting stuff during lunch at work like I do fairly often.

I think that the template systeam should have colour coding. Usualy I copy and past the template into Dreamweaver to get the layout correct.
