All the time people sign up in my forum and post links on their profile sites. They dont participate in my forum at all, just use it to create a profile page. How to disable the signature field? or how to disable the file that allows them to post links on their profile?
They are probably spambots that will come back to spam like hells on fire if you don't stop them.
I suggest using the StopForumSpam mod for MyBB to prevent them registering.

I had the link copied, but then my Live messenger started alerting me again, about a new IM
StopForumSpam will be better, because it prevents admins having to use such hacks in the first place.
Making sig-links nofollow worked for me, not 1 spammers registered since I made that change.
