Can anyone please help me how I can implement a post limit on a newly registered member group and that their first initial 5 - 10 posts would have to be approved by the admins or the moderators of the forum. After the first initial posts they should automatically get the status of registered member.
You could do this with Group Promotions. If you make a new 'registered' group and move all of your existing members to that. Then you can make a promotion to move all users from the original registered group who have 5 or 10 posts to the new one at a set interval.
For making the posts moderated you would need a plugin. I don't know of one which currently does this however.
