I was expecting the descriptions set for each Customer Profile Field, via Configuration > CustomerProfileFields > Edit > ShortDescription, to be seen in the UserCP where they're supposed to fill out the fields.
Am I misunderstanding something?
How can usual registered users see the description?

Your right, the description isn't used outside the admin panel I don't think. Maybe there is a use that I'm missing as well but maybe one of the devs knows...
