i used MYBB when it was 1.0PR4.

Have there been any databse changes since? Can i use the new files with the old databse?


Basicly, i want to just want to copy over the users, posts, attachments and forums - settings are mostly irrelevent.

There are upgrade scripts included with 1.04. Check the readme in the Documentation part of the zip for upgrade.html. That will tell you how to upgrade.

1.0PR4 doesn't exist

The list of old versions is like this:
1.03
1.02
1.01
1.00
1.00 Preview Release 2
1.00 Release Candidate 4
and there are also some before that

If you specify exactly which version you are using, we can provide more help for you to upgrade.
