Since I have received zero answers on Yahoo Answers, I thought I'd try posting here.

When I change the blending options of one layer, such as the gradient, it will change the gradient of all other layers, which have a gradient too. How can I stop Photoshop from doing this?

Btw, I'm using CS4

Nevermind, I figured it out

I just had to uncheck the "Use Global Light"

There's a little chekbox in the gradient edit thing which has a term along the lines of use global something or other, uncheck that and see if it fixes it.

What "gradient edit thing"? I can't seem to find anything with the general name of "global...".

Sorry, I mean it does this when I do shadows (drop shadows)
