Is there a mod that will allow me to show the member list, but only certain membership levels or groups? I would not like my basic members to be listed, but I would like VIP members to be listed and easily in contact with one another via the membership list.

I don't think you can. The memberlist is designed to show every registered user in the db. Unless there's a settings in the acp.

You could add them to the "Forum Team" page, by giving them a display order on the Groups page in the ACP.
