I'm 90% sure it's an issue with my browser and my browser only, but if you insist:

1. Create a post in Quick Reply box.
2. Click "Post Reply".
3. Check that your new post has appeared above.
4. Click "Edit" on your new post without refreshing the page.

Doing that takes me directly to full edit on my Firefox, instead of presenting the usual dropdown options.

Same problem here. Firefox 8 with several plugins.
Works ok in other browsers.

Then it'll be a Firefox 8 issue. If it's fine for everybody else and always has worked, and breaks with a very new version of a browser it's clearly due to a change in the browser.

Firefox 7 also didn't work. But latter I remember it was ok.

It is hard to debug prototype for me.
Fast editing actually is working. But div "popup_menu" is not showing when pressing "edit". This problem happens only after Quick Reply.
