Well we only allow the original author of the plugin to submit a plugin to the mods site here but outside of this site you can't really control what people do what your code if it's within GPL.

Unless I misunderstood, I think querschlaeger was saying that if someone updated one of his mods, he wouldn't wan't his name on it?

Yepp, this is what I meant.

It could be confusing if there exist a modified version of a plugin (maybe with a higher version number?) with the same name. Also I don't believe that the original plugin authors will give support for modified plugin versions...

So I think forks with another name and a new beginning version number are a better idea.

Fit on Page - works with 1.6
Google SEO - updated by author
Profile Comments - updated by author
ProStats - updated by author

Welcome PM - works with 1.6

No it doesn't past the "Default" theme. If I use another 1.6 theme it doesn't work.

Check {$ps_header_index} and {$ps_footer_index} appear in your index template.

I'm guessing most will work with 1.6, I've only found one plugin out of the 34 I have installed that hasn't been updated or works anyway.
