Who exactly pays for LiteSpeed web server? It's about as fast as nginx (which is free). Even so, Apache is fast enough, I can't picture anyone being too impatient to wait for an Apache page to load.
LiteSpeed is horrible. I will never use a webserver that has a license that restricts what kind of websites I can host.
If your gonna go away from Apache, and your just hosting yourself, take a gander at Hiawatha, its very good.
Lighttpd is nice also. Uses less than 10MB of RAM if I remember correctly.

This is the real reason i got a C&D. /joking.
I'm sure they lost millions of potential clients from that single line.
It's not so much that it doesn't allow porn it's that they can change it other things that I may want to host.
And, as others have said already there are a couple other very lite httpd servers that are free.
It's like buying a cup but the manufacturers says alcohol can't be put in it. If I'm paying for it I don't want to be restricted in my usage of it based on their morals.
