Hi,

I recently purchased a VPS, but dealing with a slight problem.

I have CENT OS 5.4 installed, and I'm trying to install Apache, but whenever I visit the website after it's installed (and I restart the vps), I get a "Problem loading page" error.

How can I fix this?

Have you added port 80 as a firewall exception?

Yes, port 80 is in the firewall exception.

Are you viewing the page via a FQDN or IP?

I'm viewing it via IP. It works with Ubuntu with LAMP, but if I decide to do a fresh install with CENT OS, it gives me a loading page error.

Weird. Can you look in the Apache error_log file and see if it's throwing an error on the server? If not it sounds like a DNS issue somewhere.

If it works with Ubuntu or any other distro just use it. Also it could be your setup. When you are installing your VPS, how are you installing it? Go to howtoforge, and look up the perfect server, under Centos. Make sure your doing it right,
