I have Windows 7 and I just got a My Passport SE, and I am trtying to install SmartWare. I get to the bit where it says estimated time remaining and it starts to install, but then the window just closes at about half way every time, not completing the install as far as I can see. I have tried restarting and all drivers are installed (I cna view the drive)
Sure it's compatible with W7?

Yep, said it was Win7 compatible... Tried, but they ask for an RMA, and some other stuff I don't have :-\

Oh god i feel your pain. I had the same issue, in the end of the day i returned it, and bought an external drive and a spare HDD. Was easier then putting up with them. Sometimes good products=crap support.
Like windows... oh wait, product = crap + support = crap
As long as the product is good, I just figure out the rest myself, such as Windows. :awsm:
