how to make the https admin panel? if so, how do through cpanel? please guide me Big Grin
You need to buy an SSL certificate.

I don't see why you would need one though, it won't protect your admin panel.

since it is just a local/limited user access a cpanel self signed certifcate will suffice. only drawback is the browser complaining about invalid certificate but once you import it its all fine and works as usual.

look at you cpanel docs for cfeating and installing a ssl certificate.
Is there not another way? I never saw a site that uses mybb too, and when I tried to get into that site, looks a page https (SSL)

and certainly not in cpanel is served? then, how to use it

implore if anyone knows please help me. Essentially, I just want to make mybb more secure admin panel. as an example: edit_account Big Grin

just an example Big Grin
you need a certificate to use SSL and cpanel will create a self signed one for you. this is beyond the scope of mybb support in my opinion. what you are asking is possible just need a ssl cert and setup .htacess to force https use.
Please Google around on how to setup a SSL, we can't really help you as this is not MyBB related.
^ What he said. This isn't support for MyBB.
