I need to disable points for certain section only. for example when user posts, starts threads in Announcement/Introduction section, then s/he can't get points there,

how i can do this? plz support.

Set the income rate to '0' for that section/forum and then no one will get points.
{admin_dir}/index.php?module=newpoints/forumrules&action=add
