I've already made this topic here, but it was posted in the wrong place and didn't really get the responses I needed. Sorry if this counts as spam or anything like that.

Basically, I want to replace the icons, such as:

and

to actual text.

I don't want them to be images anymore, I just want it to be plain and simple, as I don't want my forum using too many images and also just having text links looks better for my site.

I would like to know if this is possible, and if so, how so? I can't seem to figure it out.

This should be posted in theme support. In your templates, you will have to go template hunting to find all the correct ones, you can replace the images with text.
